The Army Cadet League of Canada and the Provincial Branches were officially formed in 1971 to work with the Department of National Defence (DND) in support of Army cadets in Manitoba.
The Manitoba Provincial Branch of the League is the supervisory sponsor for the Support Committees of 14 cadet corps across Manitoba. The Branch ensures financial, accommodations and transportation support for programs and services not provided by the Department of National Defence to more than 550 Manitoba Army cadets.
